Alexandria, VA, June 12, 2025—The Big “I" is pleased to announce the appointment of Kasey Connors as the new executive director of the Big “I" Agents Council for Technology (ACT).
ACT provides a forum for agents, carriers, vendors and thought leaders to collaborate on industry technology issues. Stakeholders work to identify challenges, explore solutions and advocate for technology-driven innovation that strengthens the independent agency system.
Connors joined the Big “I" in 2017 and has been the vice president of marketing operations for Trusted Choice® since 2019. She has been a key driver behind several major initiatives at Trusted Choice, helping independent agencies elevate their online presence and leverage technology to connect with today's digital consumer.
Connors is an industry resource for technology and marketing. She played a key role in building and launching the Trusted Choice Hard Market Toolkit, a vital online resource helping agents support clients during turbulent market conditions. She has also supported the development of the Trusted Choice AI Toolkit, designed to help agencies effectively explore and adopt artificial intelligence (AI).

Connors succeeds former ACT executive director Chris Cline, who recently transitioned to a new role in the industry. Her appointment is effective immediately.

Connors is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and digital innovation. She holds an MBA, is a certified association executive (CAE) and holds the professional certified marketer (PCM) designation. She is also a recognized leader and advocate for the insurance industry, serving on the board of the Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) and as an officer with Invest, an education initiative administered by the Big “I" that connects high school and college students to careers in insurance and risk management.
